We had some issues with a prior lease. We wanted out of it, and into a new car. The whole team at Suburban made it happen, problem free. Every single employee at the dealership is nothing but professional. They have completely exceeded our expectations.
We stopped at an offsite event held at the Saline Fair grounds the the signs described as a PRE-AUCTION sale. The sales people and the flyers present this as a chance to get DEALER prices. There are no prices on the vehicles you are instructed to make an offer. They talk about the vague concept that a bank owns the cars and it has a loan balance that they need to pay but that they might be willing to lose money on the car to get rid of it. Now keep in mind all the cars have Suburban floor matt covers and the sales people all have Suburban business cards. We made an offer and they required us to get credit approved before they would consider the offer. My first mistake. I offer $18,000 for the vehicle. They told me we were approved and everything would be fine. They even let me take the car to pick up my son at school. Upon returning to do the paperwork everything changed. I asked to sign a binding agreement with a price of $31,000 on it. I refused until they changed it to $18,000. The "bank rep" then took over and told me the "bank" that owned the car would not even consider my offer and I needed to try again at a price closer to $27,000. I asked him if the car would go back to the Suburban dealership after the sale if it wasn't sold and he said probably! He forgot it was a pre auction sale I guess. Then they tried to switch me to a cheaper model. Just one lie after another. The car was worth about $21,000 if they would have worked with me honestly we probably could have made a deal. Stay away from these guys.
Anne Martin helped me to find the PERFECT used car at a great price. Our experience could not have been better. Anne was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and energetic. You get the sense that you can truly trust her and she is working on your behalf. She worked hard to helped us get the right car at the right price. I will be recommending her to everyone I know who is in the market for a vehicle.
All staff was very helpful. However, when wanting to tell the management how good their service was, I believe his name was John (rating 0), he seemed very preoccupied and didn't care to hear what i had to say. Overall, the service department did an excellent job in answering my questions.
